In memory of the most amazing, lovely lady, the best Mum, wife and grandma anyone could wish for.

Our Mum did so much good while living with ovarian cancer, including taking part in clinical trials to help others and engaging with medical students to share her experiences and improve practices.  She dealt with her illness proactively and positively, she fought for treatments and researched ways to help herself and test doctors on all options, never giving up even under the worst circumstances.  Mum discovered she carried the BRCA2 gene mutation half way through treatment, which means others in her family will not have to go through what she did, ultimately saving lives.

She leaves an amazing legacy and lives on in her three children. As a family we talk and think about her every day.  We are so proud and thankful to have had so many wonderful years together and we will miss her always.

Target Ovarian Cancer charity is crucial to ensure further funding for ovarian cancer, including funding for research and clinical trials.  Ovarian cancer is often not found until later stages and much more needs to be done to fund research and promote the signs and symptoms of the disease.
